# Audit Log

> Track and review important activity in zyme with the Audit Log for visibility, accountability, and compliance.

## Overview

The **Audit Log** provides a detailed record of key actions taken within your zyme account.\
It helps ensure transparency, security, and compliance by allowing you to monitor who did what, and when.

## What is tracked

The audit log records significant events, including:

* **Authentication** – Logins, signups, and failed login attempts.
* **Workflow activity** – Creation, updates, publishing, unpublishing, and deletions.
* **Bookings** – Requests, approvals, rejections, cancellations, and completions.
* **User management** – Invitations, role changes, or removals.
* **Billing actions** – Subscription upgrades, cancellations, and renewals.

## Accessing the audit log

1. Navigate to **Settings → Audit Log** in the sidebar.
2. Use the search or filters to quickly find relevant events.
3. View details for each entry, including:
   * **Timestamp** – When the action occurred.
   * **Actor** – The user who performed the action.
   * **Action** – What was changed or triggered.
   * **Context** – The workflow, booking, or entity involved.

## Why it matters

* **Security** – Detect unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
* **Accountability** – See which user made specific changes.
* **Compliance** – Maintain accurate records for audits or regulations.
* **Troubleshooting** – Understand the sequence of actions when investigating an issue.
