# Remove Workflow

> Learn how to remove workflows safely without affecting any active or ongoing plans.

## Overiew

If a workflow is no longer needed, you can remove it from zyme.\
Removing a workflow is safe and does not impact any ongoing plans, those continue to run even after the workflow is deleted.

## How to delete a workflow

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the workflow menu">
    Navigate to the workflow you want to delete.\
    Click the **`…` (more options)** button in the top-right corner of the workflow card.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Delete workflow">
    From the dropdown menu, choose **Delete workflow**.\
    A confirmation dialog will appear.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm deletion">
    Confirm your choice to permanently delete the workflow.\
    Once deleted, the workflow will no longer appear in your workspace.

## Important notes

* **Safe to delete**: Removing a workflow does not affect active or ongoing plans.
* **Permanent action**: Deleted workflows cannot be restored, so double-check before confirming.
* **Best practice**: Archive or export any information you want to keep before deleting.
